They did'nt tell you that these kids were part of a mob that had stoned and petrol bombed the patrols. They were snatched from the crowd and given a slap, they got off lightly if you ask me.

We're not getting the full story as usual. I don't understand why people take the "new's" word for everything. Just becuase it's on video doesn't mean much, especially when it comes to wars and foreign policy in general. Make sure you hae the whole story when condemning one side or the other.

the teenagers were randomly grabbed because of some minor thefts around the area. it sure takes some BRAVE soldiers to go round in a large group and grab a couple of young iraqi teenagers to beat them like this... yep...the coalition of thw wilting are sure bringing democracy to the iraqis..the typr of democracy that even sadaam would be happy with..LOL..

These kids must have done something wrong to end up in a wrong place like this. You don't want to mess with soldiers when they already risk their life trying to do their job. Don't try to come up with your own stories just because you hate the American.

Even IF they were insurgents, this would be against the Geneva Convention codes of conduct. And if they were not insurgents then this would be Guantanemo Bay all over again. I am a former soldier and even I can't see why ANYONE would defend this kinda behavior and commentary unless they were criminals themselves. In my platoon anyone caught doing something like this, regarless of the cercumstances, would face immeadiate diciplinary actions as dictated by the UCMJ. We're supposed to be better than the terrorists, not like them.
