It was a model plane. It was too small to be real, and too light. There's no way power lines would stop a real plane in flight. Instead, the real plane would bring them down along with the poles. The thing looked like it was made of balsa wood by the way it stopped, burst into flames, and fell to the ground like a cardboard box.
