From what I understand this is a Russian helicopter being shot down by Afghanistan militants. I was told the pilot recovered and was able to crash land the helicopter surviving the landing.

Looks like a SA 16 Gimlet definately a russian made SAM note the round bell on the under the tube/common on russian SAM's almost all of them have it.

no no no. they did not srvive. they survive the crash landing but bad guys went and killed two of the survivors. i have seen this clip on a diffrent site. bad guys went to the crash site pulled one of the live dude and then made him stand up and then shot him severl times in the chest with AK47:(
