Maybe his territorium is too small, causing such apathic behaviour. Or he is sick(Brain tumor/illness, lost sense of balance).

Maybe he's simply exercising. A polar bear would probably think that a swimmer doing laps is crazy.

With a place that small, I'm sure there isn't much to do. Plus, maybe he just has cabin fever. And polor bears have tons of free time. All they have to worry about is getting food (free fish from the zoo), poopin' and sex. What else is there to do? Bears are naturally curious animals.

This video should be removed. The cruelty is beyond comprehension...small living conditions, dirty water, underweight bear. Were was this filmed???
