Hey I drove the black towtruck in the foreground. It belongs to Bill's Towing of Tacoma Washington. The truck is a single frame 18 wheel rotating 90 ton crane...the first in the U.S and now 1 of 2 west of the Mississippi River. The camera angle doesn't give the rig justice. The intersection of acciddent was South 15th st. and Pacific Avenue Tacoma Washington. In 1996 I myself had an accident at that very intersection but goin the opposite direction...the car that hit me totaled on the back bumper of my '65 ford F-100 short narrow stepside....he lft his paint on my bumper and that is all.....small world eh?!
