they confirmed today in Montreal with the car's black box that he was going 220 km/h and when he hit the force against him was 75G or 75 times his weight. His carbon fiber security cell, 6 point seat belt and neck brace really saved his life and all he got was a concussion and a twisted ankle. Technology is incredible today. Gilles Villeneuve would not have died in 82 if he had all that new security.
